Britney Seanice Mitchell known as "Bri-seané" is a R&B/Pop Singer & Songwriter from Chicago Illinois currently residing in Jacksonville, FL. She is of African American, Caucasian, Native American and Irish decent. Bri-seané moved to Jacksonville, FL at the age of 7 years old. Although Bri-seané has been singing since the age of 3 years old and always received compliments on her talent, it was not until the tender age of 9 years old that she first realized how much she wanted to pursue her dreams of becoming an Entertainer. Bri-Seané began to study old school artist such as Patti Labelle, Etta James, and Luther Vandross ; however she did not stop there. Bri-seané later auditioned and was accepted into Douglas Anderson School of the Performing Arts. At D.A., she performed in talent shows, as well as pursued other musical endeavors such as learning to read sheet music, learning to play the keyboard, and learning to play the guitar. After attending D.A for a year, Bri-Seané transferred to Edward White High School where she is currently an active student.
Bri-Seané showcased her talent by auditioning and winning 1st Place at Amateur Night at the Ritz Theater in Jacksonville, FL. She loves R&B, pop, soul, music from the 60’s, and Hip/Hop. Her musical influences are Beyoncé Knowles, Patti Labelle, Jazmine Sullivan , Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, and Brandy. Her style influences such as Aaliyah, TLC, and Ciara are truly uncanny and are sure to catch your eye. Bri-Seané also dabbles in Hip/Hip with influences by Nicki Minaj and Lauren Hill. Constantly working to be an all around entertainer, Bri-seané brings her soulfulness and vulnerability to her fans, and hides nothing on stage.
